Ever since I was litte I have always wondered if depending when you were born or if you have siblings would you have a certain personality. Frank Sulloway who is a "visiting scholar in the Institute of Personality and Social Research at the University of California." (Sulloway) Sulloway wrote a book called Born to Rebel which talks about depending on the order in which you were born depicts to what type of personality you will have. I think that is just so cool. Because in my life I have noticed people who are born and have similar siblings share a similar personality along with certain likes and dislikes of things. I always wondered about my position its a bit complicated but I hope that the book and research online would describe how I am. I am an only child raised by my grandparents (mothers side) I have never known my father or his side of the family. My birth mother was the youngest with an older brother. my Grandma is the second oldest of eight. She has an older sister and younger sister and brothers. My grandfather is the second eldest of five with an older brother and younger brother and sisters. Would their birth order have an affect on me and my personality as well? Time to search for answers. A female only adopts some of her same-sex parent's birth order characteristics, so you should have some of your mom's lastborn traits.
