After reading Aldous Huxleys's The Doors of Perception it made me realize that most of the greatest authors, journalist ect write their best pieces and see life in such amazing ways when taking drugs. Mescaline is a psychedelic drug found in the peyote cactus and was used by Native Americans for religious ceremonies and by the author Huxley. He explains how it takes you from ordinary perception makes you realize outter worldly things and will be wiser but hungry for more knowledge because of the way the drug makes you feel. As if saying the drug keeps a door open a peak and you feel so close and want to open the door and know more about exerything. This is extremely interesting because I don't do drugs but I have met people who have and the way they take life is more out of the box then many sober people who have extensive book knowledge. works cited mescaline info was found from wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mescaline
